Attorney Offers Financial and Legal Advice on Long-term Care Planning
A seminar on navigating through the maze of laws and benefits that comprise the long-term care system will be presented by guest speaker Yale Hauptman, an elder law attorney with Hauptman and Hauptman based in Livingston. Hauptman?s discussion entitled, ?Navigating and Pre-Planning the Financial Burdens of Long-term Care,? will be held on Thursday, November 15 at 6:30 p.m., at The Atrium Assisted Living at The Allendale Community for Mature Living.
Yale Hauptman graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree from Rutgers College and received his Juris Doctor degree from Albany Law School. After serving for a year as law clerk to the Honorable John C. Stritehoff of the Superior Court of New Jersey, he entered private practice. Early in his career he began providing assistance to clients and his own family in what he later came to recognize as the field of elder law. He established his own firm in 1995, devoted exclusively to elder and disability law. Hauptman and Hauptman specialize in guiding families through the ?elder care journey,? helping them navigate the maze of laws and benefits that comprise the long-term care system.
The free program will be held in The Atrium Lounge. Pre-registration is required and a dinner will be served. The event is part of Karen Angrist MSW, LCSW Caregiver's Support Group and Seminar Series, which are held on a monthly basis featuring health topics that are pertinent to seniors and their families.
The Allendale Community for Mature Living is located at 85 Harreton Rd. in Allendale, which is conveniently accessed via private driveway off of Route 17 South. For more information on upcoming events, topics or to pre-register for Nov. 15, please call Marion at (201) 825-0660 ext. 7997.
