Carpet Runner confident to claim Owners' Bonus Series - Heat 2 title

In the line-up of the six hounds, who are going to compete for the ace title of the Owners' Bonus Series - Heat 2 tonight at Mildenhall, the D. Brighton trained black dog, Carpet Runner, looks to be the strongest as he possesses a decent record in A4 format of the sport.

The four-year-old veteran hound will take it as a routine matter to fight to his utmost to win over 375 meters once he breaks from the white box.

Taking a look on the dashing dog?s stats of the past three months, it becomes obvious that he is in full swing. During June, the brilliant runner nicely won an A6 and an A5 race in a row.

After winning another A5 race in July, he bagged his maiden A4 victory on August 3 by beating Feora Rookie whom he will face again tonight.

The son of Westmead Hawk out of Woodman Yak earned immense applause after that hilarious success. He moved on to finish as the runner-up in another A4 race.

Carpet Runner registered his second A4 triumph on September 4, again without the favourite tag. Thus, he has proved many times how unpredictable he is. ?There must be no doubt to believe that he will make a big impact tonight as well.

On the other hand, Feora Rookie is keen to take the revenge from Carpet Runner who defeated him ferociously on August 3. The J. Cock trained black dog delivered some impressive performances during the last two months.

In July, the veteran hound won an A6 and an A5 race consecutively. He went on to grab a 6-length clean victory in a T2 race on August 1. The son of Top Savings out of Droumeragh Pride nicely finished first in the A5 375m Flat that was his last start.

This comparative analysis reveals that the two mighty dogs stand almost equal in terms of talent and success ratio, but Carpet Runner has an advantage of more A4 victories.

So let us be ready for the awe-inspiring battle. A huge crowd will turn out to the venue. Good luck to both the dogs.
