Strike continues in Rutland Southwest Supervisory Union

POULTNEY, Vt. -

A Rutland County teacher's strike continues leaving students out of school for a second week.

Negotiations between teachers and school boards in the Rutland Southwest Supervisory Union broke last Wednesday over disagreements about work rules.

Classes are cancelled again this morning for students in Ira, Middletown Springs, Poultney, Tinmouth, and Wells.

No date has been set for negotiations to resume.
